Once you leave our care, we will continue to seek your feedback through the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey. This survey is designed to be a standardized tool for measuring and reporting satisfaction across all hospitals in the U.S.
After you are released from the hospital, you may be selected to participate in the HCAHPS survey administered by Press Ganey. The survey asks multiple-choice questions on key care topics, such as:
The HCAHPS survey is backed by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The survey is used to improve the quality of healthcare. HCAHPS makes survey results public so hospitals are aware of where changes are needed. The results also enable healthcare consumers to review and compare hospitals before choosing a healthcare provider.
